FAQ

Q. How do I schedule?

A. Simply call or email us to let us know your availability, and we will respond with current appointments that fit your schedule.

Q. Why are you so passionate?

A. A mentor of mine used to say, "If people knew what I knew, they would do what I do." Chiropractors have a solution. Most people just don’t know it. So, I speak up to get sick people well! We do not know how far reaching one smile, one compliment, one hug, one kind act, or one adjustment can be.

Q. I heard that once you go to a Chiropractor, you go for life?

A. Most Chiropractors promote a proactive and preventative type of lifestyle. For how long do people go to the dentist, the medical doctor, or the optometrist? How long should you exercise or eat good foods? These are healthy lifestyle choices. After the resolution of initial problems, my patients are given the option to receive periodic spinal checkups. Many people recognize the value of having a nervous system free of interference and choose regular adjustments. This is done to maintain progress, minimize the likelihood of new problems, or to achieve new health goals.

Q. How do I know if I need a Chiropractor? I don’t hurt.

A. Pain is always late to show up in any disease process. Much like a tooth cavity, you may have it for a long time before symptoms appear. By the time an abscess(infection) forms, you’re too late! Although it may be possible to know if there’s a problem with the spine, it is rarely possible to know you don’t. Regular spinal check-ups are always a good idea.

I have mastered a thorough and comprehensive examination to see if you are indeed a candidate for Chiropractic.

If I find something important, I’ll tell you. If I can help you, I’ll let you know. If I can’t, I’ll find someone who can.

Q. Why do children need to be checked by Chiropractors?

A. “Birth Injury …spinal cord injury at birth is more common than has been thought. Most often caused by excessive longitudinal traction, especially when combined with flexion and torsion of the spinal axis as a cause of spinal injury at birth.” - David Yashon, MD. Professor of Neurosurgery, Ohio State University. Because of frequent damage to the nervous system, spinal injury should be considered in the presence of neonatal distress, apnea, and flaccidity. A child will double in size quickly as he/she grows and develops every single organ, tissue, cell, and gland in the entire body. What organ was the first to develop, how responsible is it for systemic communication, & how do check it’s function?

Q. Is Chiropractic dangerous?

A. Chiropractic adjustments are safe for all ages when the doctor’s technique is modified accordingly. A larger body of valid research shows there is very little risk involved with Chiropractic treatments as they are among some of the safest treatments in the health care field. Chiropractic is designed to be applied before resorting to more drastic therapeutic procedures. It is “greatly superior to medical management in terms of scientific validity, safety, cost-effectiveness and patient satisfaction."

Q. Why is Chiropractic care so expensive?

A. Clinical improvement and cost-effectiveness has been proven to be around 50 percent better than pharmaceutical and surgical intervention. A 7-year study showed that patients who utilized Chiropractors as primary care physicians had 60% fewer hospitalizations, 62% fewer outpatient surgical cases and 85% lower pharmaceutical costs! This is fundamentally important to understand. The rationale is simple: safe, natural, and convenient care now to avoid nasty problems in the future.

Q. Do you believe chiropractic care could treat conditions like asthma?

A. Yes. I’ve helped many kids and adults eliminate their asthma symptoms.

Chiropractic always works whether someone believes in it or not. This is a great question.

Chiropractors don’t treat disease and shouldn’t claim to.

The purpose of a Chiropractic adjustment is to remove pressure from nerves. If I had asthma, allergies, migraines, heart disease, liver disease, or cancer, I’d want to make darn sure I had no nerve interference. More importantly, I would want to maintain the integrity of my nervous system to prevent dis-ease.

Grey’s Anatomy (medical textbook) states that within us exists a ‘communication highway’ that ALL functions of the human body are controlled and regulated. Throughout our body, there are trillions of nerves carrying messages communicating to/from every organ, tissue, cell, and gland. These nerves tell our heart to speed-up/slow-down, veins/arteries to shrink/expand (circulatory system). Nerves tell our lungs to breathe both consciously and subconsciously (respiratory system). They tell our body to create certain antibodies and when to create them (humoral system). They tell us when, where, and how to grow new muscle cells (musculoskeletal system). They tell our adrenal glands to secrete the hormone adrenaline when we’re in fight/flight (endocrine system). They tell our digestive system which nutrients to absorb (expensive supplements) and which to excrete (shitty foods) ...etc. The scenarios of physiological adaptation are unlimited, and the body does this all through the nervous system with/without our conscious thought. The nervous system is the first organ to develop; all else follows. How important is it to have a brain & spinal cord communicating at 100%? This is the purpose of Chiropractic.

When we adjust the spine to remove pressure from nerves, the brain and lungs can communicate better whether with or without presenting asthma symptoms. It’s no wonder why I’ve helped so many kids and adults with asthma.

Most adults were never taught and don’t understand these fundamental anatomy/physiology concepts.
